Osteopathic practice aims to restore (and maintain) a person’s body to its overall natural state of well-being. This homeostasis is seen as promoting the body’s ability to heal and regulate itself.

Massage Therapy

Massage is the manual manipulation of soft tissues and joints. It includes active and passive techniques, hydrotherapy and therapeutic exercises which all help to rehabilitate musculoskeletal dysfunctions.

Nicole is very excited to be a member of the Effleurage Massage and Wellness Team!!

She graduated this past fall from triOS College with her goal of Distinction (90+ average)! and has grown very passionate about learning how the human body works and helping those in need!

Nicole has excellent knowledge when it comes to using general Swedish massage techniques, advanced techniques and hydrotherapy (use of heat and cold). These all help in improving blood flow, reducing perception of pain, relieving stress and promoting overall heath of the client and muscular tissue.

Nicole is committed to creating individualized treatments to help the client reach their specific goals. Her mission is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment and to educate and empower those who seek massage therapy. Seeing the change/improvement in her clients first hand is the best reward of all and it’s those changes that motivate her to continue learning and improving.

When Nicole isn’t treating, you will likely find her singing her heart out, playing piano or attempting to improve her tennis game!

Hello! I’m Ali Eid. I use my educational training and practical experience to help resolve acute and chronic problems whether they result from work, sport, or daily living. I treat a range of acute and chronic problems stemming from the musculoskeletal system using mainly hands on osteopathic methods and remedial exercises along with the appropriate advice for reducing the strain on the body. I have 6 years experience treating work-related issues, concussion, headaches, and TMJ-related conditions.

Originally a medical scientist, I initially took my Doctor of Osteopathy degree at the National University of Medical Sciences in Spain. I also graduated in Manual Osteopathy from the National Academy of Osteopathy and I am a member of the National Manual Osteopathic Society and Osteopathy Chronic Pain Clinics of Canada. In addition, I also hold a massage therapy diploma from the Royal Canadian College of Massage Therapy.

I always put my clients first and my goal is to give them the safest, most efficient and most effective treatment possible.

Lorilie Thompson graduated with honors at the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Cambridge, Ontario in May 2019. She passed the board exams and received her registration October of the same year.

Lorilie is very passionate about massage therapy. She approaches each treatment session with a focus on the client’s specific short term needs and long term goals. She strives to serve each client with the highest quality of care and expertise she can provide.

When she is not working, Lorilie is busy with her vegetable garden and/ or taking her son to soccer games and practices. She loves to cook, travel and share all about her Filipino culture and ancestry.
